Ethnic Media Partnership

new american medianext 10

Over the last three years, Next 10 has partnered with New America Media to brief ethnic media on the long-term trends in the economy and how they impact state spending this year and in the future.  This year we focused our news briefings on the intersection between the environment and the economy and heard from community leaders on the economic opportunities for going green.

Events took place in San Francisco on February 26th, 2008 and in Los Angeles on April 25th, 2008.  The purpose of the Next 10/New America Media ethnic media briefings is to:

    * Provide information on critical issues that affect all Californians, including the state’s environment and economy.
    * Provide ways to build the capacity of the ethnic media to report on issues affecting different communities.
    * Provide FREE non-partisan resources in multiple languages.

For more information about previous or upcoming ethnic media briefings, please email us at info@next10.org.
